EAST KALIMANTAN East Kalimantan ( Indonesian : Kalimantan Timur ) is a province of Indonesia . Its territory comprises the eastern portion of Borneo . It has a population of about 3.5 million, [1] and its capital is Samarinda . HISTORY East Kalimantan was once mostly covered by tropical rainforest. There are several kingdoms in East Kalimantan, including the Kingdom of Kutai (Hindu), Sultanate of Kutai ing Martadipura, and the Sultanate of Pasir. BAKTI DESA Bakti desa is a program from my school. Every 11th grade student is required to take part in this program. The program starts on 3 January 2019 until 5 January 2019. The first day is the day we go to Cibereum Village by public transportation.Then, we were divided into several groups, and each group was entrusted with foster parents. Then, on the second day, we went to the village hall to conduct a seminar. After that, we were divided into several groups and went to our respective foster parents. Arriving at our foster parents' house, we also talked a little with foster parents we are called grandmother Entin. Our job there is to do the work done by our foster parents but our foster parents do not have jobs that make us feel bored all day until tomorrow. On the second day, in the morning we went to the river located far from the countryside and held a socialization or charity event for the villagers. We distributed food, clothes and books to them....
